The Blue Heron takes flight on Lake Muskoka

Every morning this lovely Great Blue Heron comes for a visit to our neighbours.  This morning I was lucky to be waiting for him with my camera.  I do wonder if he is the same one who visits our pond in Aurora in May and like us moves up to Muskoka for June.  He disappears until September when he then starts his trek back south for the winter.  The fun part about blogs like this, is a picture is worth a thousand words.  Enough of my babbling.  Enjoy the beauty of the Great Blue Heron.
